Karaoke Tips
*RECORD yourself at home singing different songs and then listen so you can get used to hearing yourself.
*PRACTICE singing "A'Capella".(without instruments)
*PRACTICE singing in the shower and in front of family members.

*Try out different genres of music, rock, county, or ballads, and see which one suits YOUR voice.
*BE POLITE and let others have a chance on the mic. *DON'T make fun of someone else's efforts. It took courage to get up there.
*DO applaud everyone, even if they can't sing.
*COMPLIMENT the host and the performers.
*BE CONSIDERATE of the host. He/she is there to encourage participation and keep things exciting and fun for everyone.
*Karaoke is all about having fun, so grab a mic and sing it loud and proud!
A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER TO PROTECT YOUR SINGING VOICE:
*NEVER strain your voice by trying to reach notes that are out of your high/low range.
*DRINK lots of fluids all the time, such as warm tea, or water at room temperature. It will help your throat. Milk or dairy products aren't good to drink before a performance. Definately, stay away from junk foods and candy.
*DON'T smoke or scream excessively.
